Our Vision

A real democracy—of, by, and for the people.

NO KINGS June 14 in Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls

Eau Claire
noon – 2:30
Owen Park to
Phoenix Park
… and back

It all starts with a rally and a march in Eau Claire at 12:00 noon. We will be marching from the Owen Park Bandshell, over the Lake Street Bridge (we ask that you observe all traffic signals), down Graham Avenue, to Haymarket Plaza at the Pablo Center, then over to Phoenix Park to support PRIDE IN THE PARK. Anyone who is interested, is welcome to stay at PRIDE for the rest of afternoon! (Indivisible will have a table there, stop in and say hi!). Estimated time to march is 20 minutes in each direction. (Click here to view full size)

There will be stops along the way for water and to chant with people who may have mobility issues.  Finally, We will march back via Barstow (stopping to chant in front of the office of Rep. Derrick Van Orden) to end at Owen Park for the final hurrah! Huge parking lot on the corner of Water Street and First Avenue. A map of the event will be posted!  Hope to see you there. Don’t forget your signs and flags! Bring your friends!

NOTE: THIS HAS CHANGED
Chippewa Falls
4pm to 5:30pm
Rally around Peace Circle

Bring your signs and flags to continue the rally with friends and community members in Chippewa Falls! The authoritarian push in Los Angeles is a call for those of us who support democracy to stand for  No Kings in America! Bring your rally energy and protector spirit to Chippewa Falls. The American flag, signs about ensuring our freedom, protecting our democracy, and adherence to the Constitution and the rule of law would be ideal. Looking forward to seeing you there.

(Note:  Because of threats of violence and escalating provocateur chatter, Chippewa Valley Indivisible will hold the Community Picnic and We the People Gathering the third week in July complete with food trucks, music, and a movie in Riverfront Park. It will be a joyous event for families in the Chippewa Valley.)

We are joining Indivisible groups all across the nation to stand for democracy and reclaim our nation. We will be joined by other groups like 50501, Women’s March, Working Families Party, unions, faith-based organizations, and the area Democratic groups! We’re not gathering to feed his ego. We’re building a movement that leaves him and the MAGA billionaires behind.

In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings. NO KINGS is a national day of action and mass mobilization in response to increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption from Trump and his allies. We’ve watched as they’ve cracked down on free speech, detained people for their political views, threatened to deport American citizens, and defied the courts. They’ve done this all while continuing to serve and enrich their billionaire allies. June 14 is Flag Day in America. Bring your flags and patriotic signs to support our nation.

On June 14th, we’re showing up everywhere he isn’t—to say no thrones, no crowns, no kings. Check out nokings.org for more information.
A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.

✅ Bring signs or props → Make your message visible!
(Ideas: “NO KINGS IN AMERICA!”, “THE PEOPLE UNITED”, “FREEDOM TO (your choice)!”)
✅ Bring American and ally flags → Flag day belongs to us, not Trump and his wealthy donors
✅ Recruit friends → The more people, the more power
✅ Record everything → Post photos/videos with #NoKings

We’re fighting for democracy. Let’s make them listen.
