Signs of Solidarity Comes to CVI

Participate in Indivisible’s Signs of Solidarity campaign with this toolkit (https://www.nokings.org/signs-of-solidarity-toolkit), including downloadable signs. There is a sign to designate a private area for employees that ICE cannot enter without a judicial warrant, and others show public solidarity with immigrants. You can print the signs and share them with businesses to help send a message that our community stands together against fear and intimidation.

Become a Poll Worker

Join a poll worker information session (https://www.mobilize.us/dpw/event/796660/), which is presented via Zoom every Tuesday night (5-5:30pm) and Thursday afternoon (1-1:30pm) throughout this summer and fall. Learn the specifics of the nomination process, as well as the requirements and basics of being a poll worker. What To Do If You Witness a Kidnapping:

Activate an alert on STOPICE.NET
Start recording everything you see, including license plate numbers
Ask if they are law enforcement
If they provide no answer, proceed to step #8
If they confirm they are law enforcement, ask for a name and badge number
If they provide no answer, ask for a name and badge number again
If they provide no answer, proceed to step #8
Call 911 and let them know that masked men are impersonating law enforcement and attempting a kidnapping


