CVI ACTION GROUPS TO MEET

This week, the Chippewa Valley Indivisible Action Groups will be meeting at a convenient time and using their preferred method (zoom, Signal, coffee shop, etc.) to discuss their goals for the next several months. They will decide on actions they want to take to support democracy as it relates to their passion area. The following groups would LOVE to have your participation. Click on this LINK and complete the CVI Action Group Form! The group leader will reach back and get you involved!

If you’re already in a group, no need to sign up again unless you want to change groups!  And, if your heart beats for the large group issues (Healthcare Accountability Tour, working to protect the elections after the Roberts Court decision striking down voting rights, keeping the protests and bridge brigades going, that’s great, too. The CVI Action groups are optional. Whatever your concern, come fight it with us!

CVI Stands in the Gap for Wisconsin Families

Our Stand in the Gap for SNAP has been an important mobilization for our communities! Your donations of food and money and your time spent packing and distributing meals is making an impact in the five-county area! From city locations to Head Start programs and pantries that support our community, your contributions are making a big difference!

Overpass Visibility Brigade

The CVI Overpass Visibility Brigade is having great success on their Monday morning “drive time” rallies.  From 7:30am until 8:30am, up over a dozen CVI members are putting up banners with messaging like Feed Kids Not Kings, Defend the Rule of Law, Be Brave Resist, and We Love USA!  Tons of honks and waves (and half peace signs occasionally) keep everyone’s spirits high in the brisk morning air.

• Monday Morning Overpass Visibility Brigade:   7:30am to 8:30/9:00am
• Friday Afternoon Overpass Visibility Brigade:  3pm to 4pm
