A movement of thousands of group leaders and more than a million members taking regular, iterative, and increasingly complex actions to resist the GOP’s agenda, elect local champions, and fight for progressive policies. Indivisible is a “bottom-up” organization. Under the guidance of a Group Leader, each local group is focused on their local communities while continuing to work together toward the progressive national goals.

We make calls. We show up. We speak with our neighbors. We organize. And through that work, we are building mini-movements in support of our local values. We are building lasting power on our home turf and, as part of the collective, in every day in every corner of the country.

Group Commitments

  1. Remake our democracy. We recognize our democracy was rigged from the start in favor of the white and wealthy. We actively work to realize a shared vision of a real democracy — of, by, and for the people.
  2. Embrace progressive values. We model inclusion, respect, and fairness in all of our actions.
  3. Coordinate and collaborate. We partner with other Indivisible groups on advocacy, elections, and national Indivisible campaigns.
  4. Build a strong and strategic movement. We focus our efforts to maximize our impact, winning progressive policy victories and taking power at the local, state, and federal level.

Upholding Values

  1. Toxic behaviors, racist or other prejudiced actions, and disrespect can erode the shared purpose of our movement, and Indivisible will not allow these things to go unaddressed.
  2. Uphold Norms of Engagement, or the way in which we expect people to interact with each other. The goal here is to create a safe, healthy and collaborative environment within groups that is mutually understood between leaders and staff.

Local Priorities

  1. Chippewa Valley Indivisible is committed to being responsive to immediate local, state, and national democracy efforts.
  2. Chippewa Valley Indivisible is committed to supporting local vulnerable populations.
  3. Chippewa Valley Indivisible believes that Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion honors all members of the Chippewa Valley.
