Meeting moved to Tuesday, July 8, because of MOR scheduling conflict.

We will be planning our First Annual HOMETOWN HEROES OF THE CHIPPEWA VALLEY event which was announced at the last meeting. This community building event will be held August 23 in Riverfront Park in Chippewa Falls. We will be celebrating ALL of the heroes of the hometown including the usual suspects police, fire, doctors, nurses, teachers, and local leaders. We will also be celebrating the heroes who work tirelessly behind the scenes like our federal and state workers, business owners AND workers, volunteers who served tirelessly throughout the area, childcare workers, parents, librarians … the list includes everyone who contributes to other members of our communities. We will have music, food trucks, children’s games, and a fun dessert. Together, we will put together the details of this event.
