Global and Local
The Healthcare Action Group has gathered this vital information on local, regional, and national resources and agencies.
Global Health
The Global Fund
The Global Fund is a worldwide partnership to defeat HIV, tuberculosis (TB) and malaria and ensure a healthier, safer and more equitable future for all. We raise and invest more than US$5 billion a year to fight deadly infectious diseases, challenge the injustice that fuels them, and strengthen health systems and pandemic preparedness in more than 100 of the hardest hit countries.
We unite world leaders, communities, civil society, health workers and the private sector to find solutions that have the most impact, and we take them to scale worldwide. Since 2002, our partnership has saved 65 million lives.
We are the world’s largest multilateral funder of global health grants in low- and middle-income countries, disbursing over US$65 billion to countries since 2002. We know that with science, money, political will and leadership, we can fight and overcome the deadliest disease threats.
The Global Fund is proof that by working hand-in-hand with civil society, governments, private sector partners, philanthropists, technical partners and communities affected by the diseases, we can save lives and dramatically change the course of HIV, TB and malaria.
International Committee of the Red Cross
The ICRC is a neutral, independent organization ensuring humanitarian protection and assistance for people affected by armed conflict and other violence.

People living in this part of the state not only have to face the cost of the abortion, but also the cost of travel. Getting Abortion Pills Online from a U.S. Licensed Medical Professional
Telehealth is a term for health care that you can get while being in a different physical location than your health care provider. Getting abortion care via telehealth means you’ll get abortion pills mailed to you, or you might pick the pills up from a specific location.
The abortion pill is generally available earlier in pregnancy. Each provider will have their own rules about how far along in pregnancy they’ll offer it–some will offer it through 13 weeks of pregnancy and others will stop offering it much earlier in pregnancy.

Committee to Protect Health Care
Through our physician-led initiatives and targeted advocacy, we push for accessible, affordable, and equitable health care. Our programs reflect our commitment to advancing policies that put patients first and safeguard the health and freedom of every family.
Physicians for a National Health Program
Physicians for a National Health Program is a single-issue organization advocating a universal, comprehensive, single-payer national health program. PNHP has more than 25,000 members, and chapters across the United States.
Since 1988, we’ve advocated for reform in the U.S. health care system. We educate physicians and other health professionals about the benefits of a single-payer system–including fewer administrative costs and affording health insurance for the 30 million Americans who have none.
Our members and physician activists work toward a single-payer national health program in their communities. PNHP performs ground breaking research on the health crisis and the need for fundamental reform, coordinates speakers and forums, participates in town hall meetings and debates, contributes scholarly articles to peer-reviewed medical journals, and appears regularly on national television and news programs advocating for a single-payer system.
PNHP is the only national physician organization in the United States dedicated exclusively to implementing a single-payer national health program.
