Scholar and Professor David Jones shares Source of Good Trouble
Join us at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, Centennial Hall Room 1904 for a presentation by Professor and Scholar David Jones, longtime Eau Claire resident, about John Lewis.The program includes a short history of John Lewis’s life and achievements. The idea of Good Trouble is explained in relation to the Civil Rights Movement and nonviolent direct action. Come spend some time with us to honor a true American warrior and hero!
Documentary film screening of CYCLE part of GOOD TROUBLE in Racine
Filmmakers are participating in the Good Trouble efforts in the southern part of Wisconsin by bring their film CYCLE for a screening in Racine. They say they are “raising awareness about social justice issues in Racine and the harm caused by the current administration. We’ll share details about the upcoming screening of the documentary Cycle at Park High School. The film highlights the death of Ty’Rese West and examines the local law enforcement practices.
