WEAU TV 13 — Egg & Dye Giveaway
April 18, 2025, Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin — Over 2500 egg and dye were given to community members by the CVI Neighbors Helping Neighbors Action Group. “It reminds us that in a community like the Chippewa Valley, people are looking out for each other, still taking care of each other and making sure basic needs are met. But also making sure that those extra things, little bits of joy that make life sustainable, are being taken care of, too,” said Aaron Zook from Chippewa Valley Indivisible. WEAU TV 13
Recording, Save Our Social Security Rally
April 15, 2025, Eau Claire, Wisconsin — Rally was called by Social Security Works for Speaker Jeffries, Senator Booker. The following week, on April 24, an Appreciation gift of frut and snacks were delivered to the office at the request of Senator Warren along with a letter demanding that the Eau Claire office remain open and staffed. WQOW TV 18, WEAU TV 13 — Hands Off Mass Mobilization Rally
April 5, 2025, Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls — Mass Mobilization Rally called by Indivisible and other national organizations. Over 1700 people attended the Eau Claire Rally from noon to 2:30. Later that day, twelve miles north in Chippewa Falls, another rally was held at 4pm with over 260 attending — both very successful with over 1.75% turnout. WQOW TV 18, WEAU TV 13
WQOW— Musk Tries to Buy Court Seat in Wisconsin
March 26, 2025, Eau Claire, Wisconsin — Chippewa Valley Indivisible rallied outside the location where judicial candidate Brad Schimel was announced to be speaking. Taking a page from the Republican congressional reps, Schimel did not appear but members chanted that Wisconsin was not for sale. “This election is really important because it’s the starting point that says whether this is going to happen in every state of the union. Is Elon Musk just going to go from state to state to state and just keep buying seats so there’s no more justice in America,” Cynthia Greening, an organizer with Chippewa Valley Indivisible, said. March 19, 2025, Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin — Rep. Derrick Van Orden had denounced the people showing up to Republicans’ town halls as “agitators,” lawbreakers and paid troublemakers. Bernie Sanders Fighting Oligarchy Rally — CVI Opening Speaker
March 8, 2025, Altoona, Wisconsin — Over 2,000 people packed in to the Altoona High School gym to hear Senator Bernie Sanders on his “Fighting Oligarchy” tour. “The American people do not want a handful of billionaires running our government,” Sanders said in his speech to the crowd. Feb 28, Eau Claire, Wisconsin — There was more than just books and silence over at the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library Thursday morning. Concerned community members packed a corner of the library where a meeting between them and staffers with Republican Congressman Derrick Van Orden’s office staff was supposed to have taken place. The Van Orden Cancellation resulted in Chippewa Valley Indivisible holding an Empty Chair Listening session for over 130 constituents.
