CVI’s Overpass Bridge Brigade continues to be one of the most effective grassroots messaging tools in Wisconsin. Our top-performing message — “Prosecute Pedophiles” — has now been viewed over 277,000 times across social media platforms.

Twice a week, rain or shine, CVI members take to the overpasses of Eau Claire with bold, unmissable signs. The messages are designed to cut through — and the engagement numbers prove they do. Drivers honk, wave, and pull over to take photos. The posts go viral. And the conversation shifts.

The Bridge Brigade isn’t just a protest — it’s a platform. And it’s reaching more people every week.

New analysis shows that Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District is more competitive than many realize. With shifting demographics, energized voters, and strong grassroots infrastructure, CD07 is firmly in play for the 2026 midterms.

The data backs up what CVI members have been feeling on the ground: conversations are shifting, new voters are engaging, and the enthusiasm gap is closing. With sustained organizing through November, CD07 could deliver one of the most significant flips in the country.
